These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, products, subscriptions, and related services.

By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and Subscription Policy.

Please read these terms carefully before using our website. If you do not agree with them, you should not use our website or purchase our products.

Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the website and make a purchase.

You must not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, pricing, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Product colors and packaging may appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings, manufacturing updates, or availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • Update product descriptions or packaging;

  • Change or discontinue products;

  • Limit the quantities available for purchase; and

  • Refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary.

Our cleaning concentrates should always be used according to the instructions provided with the product or displayed on our website.

Our multi-surface cleaner is pH-neutral and suitable for use on a wide range of sealed surfaces. Customers should always patch test the product in an inconspicuous area before wider use, particularly on sensitive materials.

Orders

An order is not accepted until we have sent you an order confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order where:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • Pricing or product information contains an obvious error;

  • Payment cannot be authorized;

  • We suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity; or

  • The order breaches these Terms of Service.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount to the original payment method.

You are responsible for ensuring that your contact, billing, and delivery information are complete and accurate before submitting an order.

Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Any applicable delivery costs will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

We take reasonable care to ensure that orders and transactions are processed through secure payment services. Payment information may be processed by Shopify Payments or another authorized third-party payment provider.

We are not responsible for the operation of a third-party secure payment service unless a loss results from our negligence or breach of applicable law.

If a product becomes unavailable after we have accepted your order, we will notify you and refund any amount already paid for that product to your original payment method.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If an obvious pricing error affects your order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected order.

Subscriptions

Certain Wilde & Thyme products may be purchased through an automatically renewing subscription.

Before completing a subscription purchase, you will be shown:

  • The products included

  • The subscription price;

  • The billing and delivery frequency;

  • Any applicable introductory price or discount;

  • Delivery charges; and

  • The terms for managing or cancelling the subscription.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method automatically according to the chosen billing frequency until the subscription is cancelled.

Subscription orders may be available at intervals supported by the subscription service, including one-, two-, or three-month frequencies.

Subscription prices, discounts, and benefits will be displayed before checkout. Introductory pricing may apply only to the first subscription order. Future renewal orders will be charged at the recurring price shown when the subscription is created.

Customers can use the subscription customer portal to:

  • Pause a subscription;

  • Skip or reschedule an order;

  • Change the delivery frequency where available;

  • Update payment or delivery information; and

  • Cancel future subscription renewals.

Changes should be made before the next order has been processed. Cancelling a subscription will stop future renewals but will not automatically cancel an order that has already been processed or dispatched.

If a recurring payment fails, our subscription provider may attempt to process the payment again and may notify you to update your payment details.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a subscription if payment repeatedly fails or the subscription is being used fraudulently.

Subscription Product Selections

Where a subscription permits customers to select or mix and match fragrances, the chosen fragrances will be recorded as part of the order.

Selections may be subject to availability. If a selected fragrance becomes unavailable, we may contact you to arrange a substitute, delay the order, or provide another appropriate solution.

Delivery

Orders are delivered according to our shipping policy.

For UK mainland orders, standard Evri delivery costs £3.99.

We aim to dispatch standard orders within 1–2 working days. Estimated delivery after dispatch is 3–5 days.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, severe weather, incorrect address information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Other UK delivery charges will be calculated at checkout.

Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Unless faulty, products must be returned unused, in their original condition and original packaging.

Eligible non-faulty products may be returned within 30 days from the date the order was accepted. Faulty products may be returned within six months from their original delivery date.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Nothing in these Terms of Service affects your statutory consumer rights.

Right to Change Your Mind

Where applicable, you may have the right to cancel a single-order or subscription contract within 14 days of receiving your first complete delivery or the final installment of that delivery.

You must notify us within the applicable 14-day period and return the relevant products no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision.

Returned products must comply with the conditions described in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

We may reduce a refund where products have been handled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.

Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions, availability periods, and eligibility requirements.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Only one promotional code may be used per order;

  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • Codes cannot be applied retrospectively;

  • Subscription discounts may not be combined with other promotions; and

  • We may withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary.

Website Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for activity conducted through your account.

You must provide accurate and current information. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account or payment information has been used without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate an account that is used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property

All website content—including branding, logos, product names, text, photography, graphics, designs, icons, and software—is owned by or licensed to Wilde & Thyme Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

  • The content is accurate and based on your genuine experience;

  • You have the right to submit it;

  • It does not infringe another person’s rights;

  • It is not unlawful, abusive, or misleading; and

  • It does not contain malicious software.

You grant us permission to display, reproduce, and use the submitted content for operating and promoting Wilde & Thyme, subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws.

We may remove content that violates these terms.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Customers are responsible for following product-use instructions and carrying out an appropriate patch test before using products on sensitive surfaces.

By using our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as necessary to fulfill orders, administer subscriptions, process payments, and provide customer support.
